This project is highlights both the natural and the man-made. The solid teak base represents a raw and natural state where the grain, knots and cracks are embraced. The tops have been meticulously handcrafted but also conform to these raw bases. The marriage of the raw material produced by nature and the polished top are celebrated here.
The bases for these side tables are made of solid teak and weigh 65lbs each. The tops are made of maple, cherry, walnut, wedge, purple heart, padauk and are floated by 5/16" stand-offs.
